TV Drama Exam Revision

Over the holidays, apart from coming to the East school, I expect that you spend a fair bit of time revising for your exam, which is in MAY.

Remember the exam is in two parts:
Section A - Textual Analysis and Representation (50 marks)
Section B - Institutions and Audiences (50 marks)

Here are some ideas to help guide your revision for Section B:

• Revise all of your notes from earlier in the year on Audiences and Instiutions, including key terms and how to use them.
• Review your case studies for Film. Know them inide out and be able to use them as example4s, not matter what the focus of the question (be it production, distribution, exhibition, consumption, or the imapct of digital technology).
• Do the same for Music. We will cover a lot on the Easter School session on Tuesday, but you need to go over your notes and do wider reading to get some good case studies of your own to refer to in the exam.
• Read and complete all activities in the revision booklets I give you.
• Do as many past papers as you can. Read over examples of Your mock grades were a level or so below your target grades.
