Foundation Portfolio

Righto, kids. Time to get down to business.

The magazine pages for yout Foundation Portfolio are due Friday 10th February. You should already be bringing your designs together now in fireworks.

That said, you shouldn't stop working on your blogs. As you do extra photoshoots, upload your photos and write a brief commentary of the shoot and analyse your shots. As you re-size, lighten, crop and manipulate your photos, take screen shots and save them in a document and upload them to your blog to show how you use ICT. Annotate these to show what tools you used and what effect you are going for. As you try to decide on things like title, puffs, article ideas etc put them as lists onto your blog. Perhaps show these to a sample of your target audience and get their feedback, making decsisions based on their comments.

Make sure you keep uploading things as you go. Ideally, you should be constantly working in fireworks on your production and regularly flicking over to your blog to update it. The focus should be on production, though.

Last, but not least, remember the quality, creativity, and variety of shots in your photoshoot is hugely important. It is better to take too many images and choose from heaps of options, than re-use the same image again in another part of your magazine. The task calls for a minimum of 4 original images!

I have made some comments on your blogs so far, so check these too.

Good luck!
